It’s a 2000 Sqft, 4 bhk apartment with Italian marble flooring and different furniture finishes. The client had a joint family of 6 and wanted a house which is maintenance free. When designing a residence where three generations reside together we have to make sure how the colors blend in a manner to give each person a unique feel, but still make the entire space is well united.
The southwest master bed room is made vastu friendly. A box room is locked behinds the camouflaged partition and door, creating a louvers bed back. In a brown room, a slight blue hint is added taken from the shade in painting color. The curtain wall has a created parking space with a niche on side which blends in with the study. A full upholstered fabric bed enhances the look of the space.
The daughters room is the most bright and lively room. Full off white texture spray is done is wardrobe, color is added by furnishings and art two art panels area created on both sides of curtain which add to the surprise factor in the room. Dressing table is opposite the bed which is not approved as per vastu hence its put in a sliding panel and hidden behind the study panel to tuck in when not used. The bed back is created with leather and metal strips to add on to the elegance of the space.
The second master bedroom is for 70 years old and hence the focus is more on grey. A wine bed adds on to the exclusivity. With leather padded back panel. Handles of wardrobe is self created with metal and marble. The mirror had a tucked in storage to accommodate all toiletries. A camouflaged door to washroom is put in to create a common toilet and Mbr common access.

Son’s room, we have proposed a warm brown cozy ambience to get well all shades of brown are given, with leather laminates everywhere. Shoe lace holes are incorporated in leather and installed behind the bed only on abstract element is added with the soft board of the study table. The servant quarter is converted into a store and added the space from the sons room. The toilet door is also camouflaged on the bedside. Handles have been created on site.
The living dining of the project is huge and incorporates three sitting spaces. The balcony and French window welcome the door skies in. the dining corner has mirrors with basin tucked in one corner near balcony. North east corner hold the temple made from marble with intricate details and inlay of mother of pearl. Peacock has been hand painted on wallpaper to enhance the look sliding shutters have been made in a format that when opened it’s a part of the living room. Dome shaped ceiling with texture add on to the look. The entrance has huge 9’ painting in a veneer panel with formal living in space. The ceiling grooves add on as a statement. The benches of the dining add on to the look as the ensure maximum natural light.
The informal living is the main heart of the project, an immaculated alabaster wall with dimming lights with metal inlays. We gave a huge l shaped wine sofa with marble and veneer which is super comfortable to ease after a long day. The center table has a hidden ottoman toked inside. We have divided the formal and informal living with a metal divider with glass panels, with a free base on black Marquina marble and alabaster detail. Black marking with groove details have been used as door frame to enhance the doo panel.
