Another old restoration project. The project was completed in phases with the client staying in the house. There were 4 generation living in the house and all their needs had to be catered in.
We had a twin boys room, who were cricket lovers. Although the mother did not want a permanent structure of cricket but they wanted the spirit of cricket to remain. A rare red and pista green combination is present in the room with a cozy study. Full importance given to the twins, with a larger than life photograph.
The master bedroom is in a more toned down shades with a hint of blue and grey. The ceiling above the bed is created in a more elaborate POP details keeping in mind the lighting and usability. The dresser is made in a pop up manner so it acts like a dresser and console as per requirement. The structural angle of the room was heavily panelled with veneer and hence enhanced the appeal.
The teenager daughter’s room is more cheerful and the yellow adds on to the interiors. The furnishings selected were eye catchy, hence enhancing the appeal with a poppy car artefact in front for the quirkiness.
Italian marble runs around the house except the kitchen. The kitchen is made with labordite granite and onyx tile combination. Sleek aluminum shutters and glass film adds on to the bling of the place functionality and utility is our prime concern while designing a kitchen.
The living room comprised of a huge formal sitting with informal quiet benches created in the windows. Orange chair, break the monotony of the all brown living space. Mirror and marble panels are put in the full exterior window wall to enhance the spacious look of the area. The crockery unit with an adjoining bar on the side, with interesting leg detail adds on to the extravaganza of the space.
